About This group class gives a foundation in basic pottery techniques, such as pulling up the walls or even centering the clay. You will dive right in the messy process and have the chance to craft something truly special.
What includes All materials, tools and instructor assistance. The cost of the class covers two kiln firings and glazing service (with clear glaze).
What doesn’t include Painting is optional and available for an additional fee after your piece is fired.
Pickup Your clay piece needs time to dry and be fired in the kiln, and it will be ready for pickup within up to 4 weeks after the class. As an optional add-on, you’re welcome to schedule a painting session to give your piece a finished look.
Please note that due to the nature of clay, there is always a possibility that some pieces may break during drying or explode in the kiln, making them impossible to save.
Good to know
Please note that your clothes and shoes may get little dirty. While clothes are easily washable, if you have an event immediately after class, it's advisable to bring a change of clothes. We will provide aprons regardless.
For a more comfortable experience, it's recommended to have short nails. Please remove rings and watches for the duration of the class.

Hand-sculpting vs Pottery wheel
The hand-sculpting session offers a unique experience where you work with clay using just your hands and simple tools, without a pottery wheel. This approach emphasizes molding and shaping the clay manually, allowing you to create one-of-a-kind, freeform pieces.
In contrast, pottery wheel sessions focus on spinning the clay to craft beautifully symmetrical designs. Both methods offer distinct creative opportunities, whether you prefer the organic flow of hand-sculpting or the precision of wheel throwing.
